Professor Betül Güzeldir is a Professor of Physics at Atatürk University, Türkiye. Her research interests include semiconductor thin films, nanostructured materials, oxide electronics, perovskite-based devices, graphene-interface engineering, and thin-film transistors. She has significant expertise in thin-film fabrication techniques such as pulsed laser deposition (PLD), SILAR, CVD, and RF sputtering, as well as in the electrical and structural characterization of nanoelectronic and heterojunction devices. She has published extensively in SCI-indexed journals, including Applied Physics A, Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics, Materials Science in Semiconductor Processing, and Journal of Alloys and Compounds. Prof. Güzeldir serves as an editor of Nanoscience and Technology and as a reviewer for numerous international journals, and she is actively involved in nationally funded research projects on advanced semiconductor materials and device architectures.
Research Interests
Semiconductor nanostructures and thin films; thin-film transistors (oxide, perovskite, and hybrid channels); metal–semiconductor contacts and Schottky junctions; interface engineering in nanoelectronic devices; graphene and reduced graphene oxide heterostructures; oxide semiconductors (TiO2, CeO2, ZnO); dielectric thin films and gate-interface physics; temperature-dependent charge transport; PLD, SILAR, CVD, and RF sputtering thin-film growth techniques.
